Our Story

The Africa Environmental Film Festival brings together filmmakers, scientists, communities and audiences around environmental films that are powerful and grounded in evidence. Where a story is told shapes how it is heard: Africa's ecological diversity, generations of knowledge and fast-changing landscapes give the continent a perspective the global environmental conversation needs. Films are considered for their artistry and for how faithfully they represent the science behind the story.
