What we're looking for

AEFF welcomes environmental films from Africa and around the world. We accept films of any genre — documentary, short, animation and narrative — that engage seriously with the environment and can stand up to scientific scrutiny. Premieres are encouraged but not required.

AEFF was founded from the international experience and network developed through the British Columbia Environmental Film Festival. We are building a two-way exchange of films, filmmakers and ideas between Canada and Africa.
